The ICC has required the eight participating nations to announce their preliminary 15-man squads at least five weeks before the tournament’s start on February 19. Bumrah’s fitness for the Champions Trophy will be tested during the England ODIs. Meanwhile, Mohammed Shami is making his return to international cricket after recovering from a long-term injury. Shami will play in both the England T20 and ODI series, bringing valuable experience to India’s bowling attack.
